Mobility Decisions of International Scholarship Recipients from the Western Balkans

Hello!

Thanks for being here. My name is Samir Beharić, and I am a doctoral researcher at the University of Bamberg. My research focuses on the real experiences of individuals from the Western Balkans (like you!) who received scholarships to study abroad at any point since the 2014–2015 academic year.

This survey takes about 10-12 minutes. I'm curious about your journey: why you applied for a scholarship, what your time abroad was like, and how you're thinking about your future. Whether you stayed abroad, returned home, or moved somewhere else entirely, your experience matters.

There are no right or wrong answers. I am just interested in understanding how scholarship programs actually shape people's lives and decisions.
